Summary

This error can appear if the installer is being run from a mapped network drive.

Additional Information

To resolve this, copy the installer to the machine you want to install the product on and run it locally. Also, you can use the full universal naming convention (UNC) path instead of the mapped drive letter.

For example, if you have a network location \\server\share\ mapped to X:\, do not attempt to install by running the following command-line:

X:\NetAdvantage53.msi

Instead, use the full UNC path, as follows:

\\server\share\NetAdvantage53.msi
